My name is Boris Dmitriev, I am a professional interior designer, creator and ideological inspirer of BD Interiors design bureau, known for my personal approach to work with rich colors and textures. 

I am convinced that the stylistic characteristics of taste are derived from our lifestyle and the environment we come from. Today, when I analyze my projects, I find that they are influenced by impressions from my early childhood, when my parents and sisters were fond of Impressionist painting. I believe that my sense of the world, of colors and their combinations, is largely based on the echoes of those bright works that I first noticed out of the corner of my eye in the illustrations of magazines.

My projects are very colorful, I like to use an abundance of different textures and patterns. Their combination leads to the creation of a holistic look of the room, helps to translate a harmonious image from the subconscious. I like to compare interior design with dramaturgy — you need to find a plot around which the details will be formed later.

The experience I have gained, the desire to constantly develop and advance in my craft, to discover something new in creativity, made me rethink my own approach to designing the subject environment. At this point, I hardly ever buy pieces from furniture factories or manufacturers of furniture for the general public. We successfully manufacture all items ourselves through our contractors, including contacts with foreign craftsmen. This work allows us to carefully select the shapes, designs and finishes required for the interior we are developing.
